If you do not have an international license you need to send a copy of your national license to Mcrent prior to your vehicle collection. You cannot produce your national licence on the day of pick up without prior approval , copies of your license are required for insurance purposes.
Mcrent has recently changed insurers whom have stated that any driver from outside the EU or one that does not have an international licence must be processed for acceptance by the underwriters.  As a matter of urgency please ensure that if you are outside of the European Union and do not have an International permit, you must send Mcrent a copy of your licence.
If you are due to pick up your vehicle at any of the Mcrent UK depots on a Saturday or Sunday and the drivers licence has not been pre-approved you will not be able to pick up the vehicle until Monday.
